The research towards antioxidant activity and the enzyme tyrosinase inhibition in vitro from extract leaf petai belalang (Archidendron clypearia (Jack) Nielson). Testing of antioxidant activity using the DPPH method with vitamin C as comparison, testing the enzyme tyrosinase inhibition using L-tyrosine as a substrate and kojic acid as comparison. Testing of antioxidant activity showed IC50 extract methanol smaller than 3,125µg/ml, IC50 extract ethyl acetate 4,272µg/ml, IC50 extract n-hexane 34,570µg/ml, and IC50 vitamin C 4,389µg/ml. Third extract leaf petai belalang showed activity antioxidant is higest category. To the test show that the inhibition of the enzyme tyrosinase from extract leaf petai belalang showed activity inhibition enzyme tyrosinase with IC50 from extract methanol and extract ethyl acetate IC50 smaller than 78,125µg/ml, IC50 extract n- hexane 339,69µg/ml and IC50 kojic acid 18,011µg/ml. Extract as a potential inhibitor of the enzyme tyrosinase is an extract of methanol and ethyl acetate extract.
